*Lehm Berg Winery 1266
County Road 208, Giddings, TX 78942 Located in Giddings, between Austin and Houston on Highway 290, Lehm Berg Winery originated from a tradition of producing wines using old family recipes handed down through generations. Lehm Berg means “clay hill” in German and conveys the German setting for this unique family home that was built in 1927 using handmade red clay bricks fired in the down-draft kiln still located on the property. The home was restored and converted into a winery that features wines made from local Wild Mustang grapes and other specialty wines. Our tours and tastings offer a unique blend of history and traditional wine making. |
